Happy New Year everyone! and short update...

Hi All,

Hope you all had a wonderful Xmas and that your New Years is even

better.

We have had a nice week, except for the fact that I have been at work

my usual Wed, Thur, Fri and is off. We painted the nursery

over the weekend and it looks great. Have had lots of friends drop by

and visit which is nice and the spa has been getting a good workout.

Yesterday I actually braved the swimming pool for the 1st time since

we moved in back in Feb. It was a little cool but I got use to it

quickly, knowing that I can run up and jump in the warm spa certainly

helps.

Tonight we are heading into the city to spend the evening having a

picnic on Goat Island. It is the first time and I have been to

the city to see the fireworks and I am really excited. I am baking

mini quiches as we speak and packing up all our favourite nibbles and

dips along with our picnic blanket and beach chairs. I am so happy

that the weather is great. After paying $150 each for our non-

refundable tickets I was really worried that it might rain and be

overcast.
