Guest guest
Hi Danna, That's not a dumb question at all !!! Yes, it's normal to feel tired - you have to keep in mind that you had a general anaesthetic a couple of days ago and your body needs some time to adjust. You might not think it was a big thing but your body has a different opinion :-) And on top of that: you're not getting the amount of food you used to have and you'll have to get used to that too. Don't worry about it, it will be fine in a few days. Hope to meet you on Friday, Cheers, > > Hi all, > > Here's a really stupid question. Guest guest
thanks , I hope to meet you on Friday, I probably won't stay too long but I would love to catch up with everyone. Unfortunately DH has to go to Melbourne and is leaving on Friday morning, so will be pleased to have some company on Friday night. Danna > > > > Hi all, > > > > Here's a really stupid question. Guest guest
Danna I was like that, i had a double dose of morphene while in hospital. Gosh it was good. You will pick up, once you start having some vitamins. Are you having optifast as part of your liquids? Its a good way to get your vitamins. I find that I feel tired after i eat .. as if i want to have a siesta. *yawn* its midnight, might go ninna-nunna right now. G'night DebDanna wrote: Hi all,Here's a really stupid question. Guest guest
Thanks for all the reassurances - I was reading some posts over on LBT and a lot of the American bandits are only considered day surgery and are released the same day as the op - I really couldn't have managed that so felt like a wimp. Then Dr L says to start some exercise and I tried to smile when he said this - but could only groan - takes all my energy to get out of bed at the moment. Will try to do better today - am drinking my multi-vitamins today so hopefully will have more energy soon. Danna
Guest guest
Thanks , I should be ok as it really is only a short drive to Brookie Hotel - I only live a 5 minute drive away - motly DH is concerned about me driving and wants to cancel his trip, but he has been looking forward to it for months and I don't want him to cancel because of me. He wants me to have next week off so I got a certificate till the end of the week, but I will go back to work earlier if I feel up to it. Look forward to seeing and meeting everyone tomorrow night. Guest guest
Danna, Just don’t push it. YOUR body will let you know when you are ready. As for exercise, again YOUR body will tell you when you are ready…Mine whispers it once in a while but I find if I block my ears I can’t hear. LOL Take your time, enjoy the sleeps, cause it all ends to soon and then the really hard work begins. Guest guest
Let me know if you're too tired to drive, I'm happy to pick you up (I'm in Dee Why :-). SO tell your hubby not to worry ! > > > > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > > > > > > > Here's a really stupid question. Guest guest
Thanks , I will have a Nanna nap in the afternoon and should be fine, I am determined not to be a wimp. I'm feeling much better after having a vitamin drink and a sustagen for brekkie. Just feeling really deprived as our Chrisco hamper has arrived and is full of goodies - and I can't have any. Oh well, maybe in the new year - they will probably end up lasting until next Chrissie now (well that will save some money anyway) See you all tomorrow.
