Guest guest
Bonnie, One more thing to go along with Stormy's comment. My daughter has never had any external triggers either. It's just meds not working. I would guess that the bad grades are because his fears are filling his mind at school and he can't think. My daughter couldn't do any work at school because she was completely afraid she was going to vomit at any moment. As soon as her meds were adjusted and working, her school work was fine. Guest guest
Thanks for answering this message out of the 400 you're reading. It helps tremendously to have input from this group. has done Prozac and it wasn't good for him. One of his pdocs is exploring PANDAS...Not sure if the spring thing is bipolar or if it is a gradual build up of stress from the year - because he is generally better by June (after a stint of home schooling). So, yes he's been stable on meds, but I don't think they were the stabilizing factor - I think being home was and any time we've tried to change meds pre-emptively, we still loose. I am very concerned wth annual and biannual breakdowns that cause himn to loose months of time enjoying life and growing. Home schooling is looking appealing to us right now.
