I apologizefor what I believe-BUT it is definitely not meant to offend

anyone- There is just SO much pain to be felt through the words typed on these

screens~~and I know that just as I do,many of you have shed tear after tear

either in " been there, done that " .... or " Wow,I wish I could be there to do

SOMETHING for her! "   & of course All of us as parents share Hatred for the ocd

that has to some degreetried to steal our childrens' lives....Definitely

torture them...is what it seems to me that it does!As a Christian, I read the

Bible, and sometimes have verses sent to me by friends/members of my church .

When I had this one sent to me today...It just spoke tome about the pain that SO

many of us as parents are in-some with NO WHERE to turn-But.. I am a living

testimony that Jesus is and can give PEACE that passes ALLunderstanding!

throw on top the OC behaviors you're dealing with??!!  Is there a therapist

that you can talk to about YOU?  A lot of parents have found that their own

therapist helped them cope better, at least lightened the load.

his first time in court, that's probably what they will do then.   And the

stress of the arrest and what he is possibly facing, I'm sure that is  making

his OCD worse.   But that doesn't help the current situation.

think he would be willing to choose ONE thing to work on?  Whatever you/he feel

would be easiest.  Let's see...like when he wants you to take part in his

compulsions/rituals, then maybe you will *wait* before you start -- you may try

delaying for 10 seconds, however long he feels he can handle your delaying

taking part.  And then when that amount of time gets easy, add another few

seconds on (or minutes, whatever he agrees to).   That's just an example.
