Guest guest
Share all you want, . It some how helps when we need to get it out. I'm so sorry you have all of this going on. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. This dragon never wants to give up. It's there 24/7. Grr. One would think it would take a rest at some point. Jeez. As for the boils, have you tried eating raisins? This is a great way to cleanse the blood which in turn helps heal the boils. Since we have to take these nasty drugs, I think whatever we can do to help support our systems is good to do. I also take a herbal liver cleanser too since the liver gets hit so hard by the drugs. I hope this is helpful to you. Maybe a sits bath would help the boils too. Just a thought and I am not telling you to do this. It is ALL a suggestion.(just incase someone thinks I'm telling you to do this.lol.) Guest guest
LMAO at you , hehehe... I need to go back to baking soda baths for my lichen sclerosus so maybe it will help the boils too. Fingers crossed. As far as raisins, well, yuck, those little buggers just won't go down my throat. I've always hated them. Is there another way to get raisins or those nutrients that seem to be helpful? I do think I need to be more diligent about adding things into my diet. I eat a very balanced diet, always have a vegetable for dinner and eat fruit at night for dessert (I hate sweets, so that is a chore). Drink vegetable juice for breakfast. Eat a good proportion of meat and minimize starches and sugars that are not natural. But I'm sure there are certain things i should add in to help cleanse better. I'm up for any suggestions - well, not raisins, lol. Any luck on the doctor search? Houston
Guest guest
Oh, honey, you're telling us all this because you have to get it OUT!!! Poor baby... I'm so sorry, what a crappy day! It probably doesn't help much, but I soooo feel for you! I have had (ahem) biopsy sort of that nature, and it was all I could do to stay on the table. To top it all off, it was an insensitive jerk of a man who didn't seem to give a hoot that I was in so much pain! Hoping you feel better soon and you pooch as well. I have been comforting my St. Bernard, Max, as we just had a storm from hell move through here and the tree he was cowering under outside got struck by lightening! He is okay, just scared to death. Feel better... BTW, how far away is Dallas from Houston? Just curious b/c I will be in Dallas for a few days in July... Take care, Gail a_cone wrote: Just got back from the gyn and while my lichen sclerosus is flaring bad and I have to go back on steroid ointment, that's not the worst of it. I guess what's upsetting me is that it's yet another freaking thing to deal with. Another freaking doctor's appointment. And another biopsy - my last vulvar one was really terrible where I felt the punch, the twist and then the needle going in and out as I had to be stitched. On top of that, I have these boil type things on the inside of my thighs, near the genital area. She told me it's likely a type of heat rash that's causing it to be boils. I researched boils and immunosuppressive medications can cause boils. When I think back, they didn't start appearing until after I started on treatment for Stills. Weeeeee, another freaking side effect (albeit, a tolerable one). And on top of that! I have an external hemmorhoid. Doesn't hurt, but since i'm telling you about all my other goings on down there, might as well tell you all of it. It's just been one of those days. I didn't get the one job i've interviewed for that I wanted - but found out why and I realize it's probably not a company I want to work for. And my mom called and said they stopped by my apartment and Stein, my dog, had crapped and threw up everywhere. Which is not normal for him, so he's sick too. I don't even know why I'm telling all of you all of this. I just need to talk. hugs and kisses, Houston Visit me, your Kay Independent Beauty Consultant (10% of your order will be donated to the International Still's Disease Foundation) http://www.marykay.com/glmurphy --------------------------------- Yahoo! Guest guest
Poor Max Gail! How scary for him to be under that tree! I dunno about yours, but mine is a spoiled 70lb baby, heheeh. The doc who did my biopsy there was also a very insensitive jerk of a man who didn't care that i was in all the pain. I remember the nurse yelling at him the whole time to stop. It was truly frightening. I'd never been afraid of needles or doctors until then. Now I freak out when getting my blood drawn, which is all too often - plus I'm a hard stick. I hate that jerk. Dallas is pretty far 4-5 hours from here. ;-( I wish it was closer 'cause I'd come meet you! Houston
Guest guest
Hey . Keep on writing. I hope both you and your dog feel better soon. Maybe the heat makes things worse and the humidity.Yuk Hiss Boo. I hope Stein did not eat any chocolate? It makes them quite ill. Ok Lets us know how you do and I hope that skin thing clears. Will the doctor let you use a powder? Sometimes that can soothe Liz

Guest guest
Dear in Houston, Sorry that you have to deal with all of this nonsense on top of the Stills. It's funny when you have Stills you sometimes feel like you can deal with whatever else is thrown at you, but that's not always the case. Last summer I had a similar scare where they thought I had endometrial cancer (cancer of the lining of the uterus). The biopsy for that is no fun either, but finally the results came back negative. I hope everything goes as well as possible , please let us know how it goes. Best wishes, -beth
Guest guest
Dear What a day you have had. So sorry to hear of all your complications with your health and hope the biopsy will be good news. What with not getting the job you were after and your dog " misbehaving " I bet you cant wait for tomorrow. One thing we all seem to have in this group is a sense of humour - where would we be without it. Hope you are feeling more comfortable today.
