Hi everybody:

I had an appointment yesterday with my rheumy and he couldn't say much because

unfortunately, the lab screwed up and they didn't do what he calls " the most

important test " , the sed rate, so this time he didn't decide anything about

tapering the pred. or getting me on mtx as he had told me before. I told him

I've been feeling better, except for the pain in my knees and wrists that

doesn't want to go away, but I'm so glad I haven't had the fatigue (at least not

so bad as it was) for this week, that I almost don't care about my pain.

Anyways, he said that my blood work looks normal, he made me go to another lab

to get the sed rate test done and he will get the results on monday. He also

said that IF that test comes back normal, he could say that my problem is not

stills, that he's almost sure that what I have is " fibro " . But, why did I have

all the stills symptoms when I got so sick then? Why do my joints hurt so bad

and I get so tired all the time? Why after he got me on pred is when I started

to move and walk again?

I guess I should ask these questions to him, but he didn't want to say much

'till he got the results.

Any comments about it? I'M REALLY CONFUSED, I don't know what to think.

Thanks every one

Jackie
