Guest guest
Just in time. Rheumy bumped up my prdenisone to 20MG from alternating 10mg and 12.5mg. Felt very discouraged. Felt like I would taper down. Of course, she knew my pain was going in the wrong direction. I haven't had the rash in over 6 months. It's back. I only get it on my arms in spots on the forearm and always 2-3 on my right cheek. My son, communicates in ASL asked if I had " Chicken pops " . I know it is not logical, but the situation made me feel like a failure. I know its the dragon, but....well, you all understand. Waiting for my bone marrow results next Tuesday. Very painless event. The wait for the results are painful (stressful) Thanks for the hug. I needed one this week. Guest guest
Thank you for the hug, Liz. It came at the right time. I went out one day with a friend and I've been paying for it since and that was Thursday. Grr. I'm sorry you are flaring but you know the drill. Rest, rest and rest some more. And I find if I drink extra water when I'm flaring it seems to help me--in some way. Returning your hug. It sounds like you need one too. If you are anything like me, it must be one of the most gentle--whisper of a hug--hug possible when you are flaring. And it always amazes me how much better a hug can make me feel. I feel loved and cared for. It truly uplifts me. Soft, Gentle Hugs, , Oregon > > > > Was feeling fine, then for 2 weekends in a row I traveled 100 miles to > family parties.
