Burr, I don't know if you had the lumbar puncture before, I had it done a few

months back and I didn't experience to much discomfort. Hope it all goes good

for you on Tuesday.

Re: Nose bleeds

Hey Marty,

For the past 4 months I have been having problems with bad headaches and

nosebleeds. I go in on Tuesday for an exploratory surgery. It is an easy one.

They are going to do a lumbar puncture, check the preasure of my spinal fluid

and cranial fluid, check my brainstem and run a check down my entire spine from

one end to the other and well whatever else. I don't know what to tell you

about the nosebleeds other than to make sure your reaumatologist knows. But

they are not uncommon. There are others of us getting them too.

Blessings be with you

Burr

Hi all and welcome to all new members.

I got a question for all. Have any of you suffered from nose bleeding?

I have been getting them on and off now for a few day the last one I had

before this was when I was 14 and was hit in the face by a fistula. now

this started last week on Friday then two more and Saturday morning and

one more last night . All have been real good at bleeding and hard to

stop. Kind of scared me a bit as they have started for no reason just

out of the blue bam there she go'

I do know my pain is up and all I am taking at the time is flexeril and

indomethacin. Nothing other. I do not feel like I am running a high

blood pressure and when I check it that is what I find also normal. I

have been getting bad headacks before hand that are very very hard to

get under control

Any info would be welcomed

Thanks a

Now let's go kick some dragon butt

Marty
