It just made me wonder. Who or what was the dragon? Why was it biting you on the leg? I have no answers and I hope my questions were not out of line. It just seemed curious that you would mention that specific thing. Marjorie in Oregon ahimsa@... Free your books! The situation was that my wife was verbally violating my boundaries, telling me I was always mired in the past. I felt like she was telling me there is no light at the end of the tunnel, and asked her to stop. She didn't, so I put a dragon between us and asked it to make a smoke screen. When I feel under attack I hear most strongly all my mother's stuff about not being OK. Then I retreat into the self-image of amputee, which my mother (even in my head) cannot see. The dragon saw that. On the whole, though, I think the dragon visualization helps. The last few days I have felt more OK with having two legs than I can ever remember. - Dan

Guest guest
Dan was just looking up a dream i had last night on dreammoods.com and came across this - 'To see a dragon in your dream, signifies that you tend to let yourself get carried away by your passion. This kind of behavior may lead you into trouble. You need to exercise some self-control. In the eastern cultures, dragons are seen as spiritual creatures symbolizing good luck and fortune. To dream that you are a dragon and breathing fire and everyone, suggests that you are using your anger to get your own way.' Thanks for telling us more about the dragon visualization. I like the idea of visualizing a dragon and asking it to make a smoke screen to protect you. A friendly dragon. Guest guest
Hi A, > 'To see a dragon in your dream, signifies that you tend to let > yourself get carried away by your passion. Yes, I suppose I am sort of like a dragon that way. I need to learn to use the passion in a positive way, rather than to deny it. Trying to control myself is what my mother and others have always wanted, and I really don't see any way to do it without denying my identity. I am sure you have noticed, the people who are most strenuous about asking you to control yourself are those who want to control you. > In the eastern cultures, dragons are seen as spiritual creatures > symbolizing good luck and fortune. I am doing my best to imagine myself as an Eastern dragon. - Dan
Guest guest
Marjorie: A friendly dragon. Cool! :-) Dan: Not TOO friendly. It has to be fierce and scary enough to keep certain people at a safe distance.
