I think " flare " is roughly defined as when you're having those big

pain in the keester symptoms. LOL. I usually get three or four days

of good relief with the meds I'm on where I have only very mild joint

pain, very hazy mild rash in the evening, and sometimes a mild fever.

One day a week, sometimes two, I feel almost cured. Then one or two

days a week I feel like total crap and hurt everywhere, usually the

day or two before I'm due for methotrexate. So I'd say I'm in a

flare, but most of it is controlled by meds.

I think " remission " is when symptoms are gone (although maybe a mild

to moderate, lingering arthritis?) and you're off all meds. Hope that
