I usually have CRP and a full blood count (and test to see if I can have the

chemo - either kidney or liver test I cant remember now).

What else could I ask the doc to test me for which might tell them I'm

having a flare? What about the RF and what's ferratin levels?

Hi Steve,

Sounds like you have a lot of unanswered questions. You might spend

several hours reading all the material on the still's website

(www.stillsdisease.org). There's a page called " guide to lab tests "

(http://www.stillsdisease.org/guide_to_lab_tests.htm), in

particular, that would help you out. I also google every few weeks

to see if anything new has been posted--I think our best weapon in

this fight is information.

If you're dumping large doses of prednisone into your body, won't

that affect your CRP, sed rate, and WBC count? You might consider

that your medications are masking what's happening rather than

controlling it.
