You will get lots of good info from people who have been banded.

I too had battled my weight for years. My only regret is that I

didnt do it sooner. I too am a grandmum and want to live a bit

longer to see my grand children.

I have good and bad days with my band... as most of the other people

do here. Overall I have lost close to 48 kgs in 18 months... so

needless to say I am as happy as a pig in mud.

So pleased to hear you have made to decision to be banded. I know

its one I don't regret.

My family is very supportive of the surgery - infact my hubby is

laughing his head off about my decision to have the surgery as he
