Cidy lee,

For years I did not catch poison Oak, but a few weeks ago I caught a dousy of a

batch. Several

otc remedies helped, but the best I have found was an 'old wives " cure. Table

salt and pour it

into a cup - add a bunch of white vinegar. Mix it up - take some of mix and put

it on the

affected area. Rub it like heck - this will open everything up and the

scratching feels really

good. Then take some vinegar on a towel and gently rub it into the area that you

have just

opened up. The salt opens the pores and the vinegar dries out the area. The

vinegar should

burn a little (if not, scratch with salt some more) It took several days, but

the patches that

were the size of my thigh went away and felt so much better.

I hope this helps,

Roy<><

I just wanted to share something with all of you in this group. I think I

have received a birthday present that I could have done without. I have a

younger brother, Damien. He is a Captain in the Air Force, and an F-16 Fighter

Pilot. I just found out that he will be going to Afghanistan in September. That

will be right after his little girl turns 2 years old. I just felt like I had a

stomach full of ice water at the news, when he told me. I know this is OT, but I

feel like we share most everything else here. With love, Mandy

Mandy;

thanks for you thought and I will pass them on. I can see you have more

then just a passing knowledge of the area and life there . My aunt was there

in the first one and give me a great education for her life there then like

living in there chem suits when under attack. She just loved the suits they

had to wear then . She also would tell em of the ones that gave them things

like cold drinks . She also was frustrated by now being able to drive any

were but had to have a man drive her . See she is and was a very independent

person . The thing she loved the most was the scuds back then and was in the

area of a a few of the targets . She was an emergency nurse for chem contam

then worst thing was she was called up 6 months before her retirement and

had to leave her 4 kids and husband at home so in our house we do have an

understanding what then people have to go threw and live with may not always

agree why were are there but I for one will never in my life let a single

military person come back her to what our Vietnam vets did as I remember

picking my uncle up in Oakland calif and he wore his uniform and when we got

out side he was spat on .I will never forget that and how it made me feel so

I stand by the ones in uniform.

hugs all and lets kick some dragon butt okay!

Marty

Dear Marty,

Thank you for the prayers and your friend will be in mine as well. My parents

lived for many years in Saudi Arabia. So I kinda have an idea of what out

military are going thru.

Now here is where I want to pick yall's brains. We are trying to come up

with a name for her business...any suggestions? Sorry this is so off

will be great for parents out there who have never found a photographer

with enough patience to work with our kiddos!

That is AWESOME that you found a good photographer. We've had this issue in

the past, but somehow it resolved itself. A couple names I thought of were

Moments Captured and Special Moments in Time.
