its such a good question

in your case its impossible to say and we cannot make a definitive link because

of her early age and the delay between the suspected trauma and the onset of OCD

the cases where its more closely temporally linked eg in war vets and after

abuse are clearer

there is indeed a link between ocd and ptsd and possibly with subthreshold

levels of " trauma " as well

I have a paper in review on this subject in J Anxiety Disorders

and can share it when the paper is accepted
