Guest guest
Mandy, Yes that's how I would describe the " ringing " in my ear, a HIGH pitched noise that could be piercing, making me want to hold my ear. The pain is equivalent to a bad ear infection. It's driving me nuts because I cant even lay down in bed on my left side because my ear is throbbing inside. Guest guest
Gail, I do have ring in my ears on occasion, but I had it before coming down with still's. Could of it been an early symptom? Brett Carey & Brett How about this? Severe Tinnitus (ringing of the ear)? I have been told by a couple of docs that it's the Still's, because I haven't been on any meds that would cause it and haven't been exposed to loud noise, either. I have actually lost 33% of hearing in both ears due to this. Mind you, my ears don't hurt, but they sure do talk, lol! It is truly something that can drive you insane if you let it. I just try to have a soft background noise so I can sleep. They wanted to fit me with a tinnitus mask for each ear, but Medicare wouldn't cover it, so I deal with it. Unfortunately, my hubby has to deal with it too, b/c I am always saying, " Huh? " I can hear him speaking but can't make out all the words... Just wondered if anyone else had a problem with this... Guest guest
People who take a lot of aspirin can have tinnitus, but this is a new one here. I'm interested in hearing from other members. I've not had problems with my ears, just my eyes. In Peace, Barbara Gardner Ventura, CA
