Guest guest
Hi everyone .... I was banded on wednesday at Ashfield and came home home yesterday (thursday). I am a little sore around the cuts area and find it easier to stand than sit. I have a lot of lower abdomen pain which I think is the gas and I find standing and walking slowly eases that. The biggest thing I am trying to get my head around is the amount of fluids I have to take in a day ... normally I don't have a problem with 1.6 litres of water + optifast but with the sipping of everything @ 50ml per half hour .... how do I fit it all in? I am not having any problems with sipping fluids and they seem to be going down and staying down OK. Should I be watching for anything at this stage? I will keep you all updated with my progress. It all falls in to place over the next day or so. Fi 2 days post op Hi everyone .... I was banded on wednesday at Ashfield and came home home yesterday (thursday). Guest guest
Congrats on your banding . the only advice I have is just sip away - don't put too much stock in not reaching 2 litres, just keep it constant and rest, rest, rest. It takes awhile to get over the op and in a week you will be feeling great, sick of fluids and looking forward to food with substance - LOL!!! Take care Cherie > > Hi everyone ....
