BJ, I am sorry he is still struggling. My dd has never heard of anyone having

that high a work load at her college. Grant it, it isn't as intensive as his but

that sounds completely unreasonable. Is his scholarship spread out over 4 years?

Do you have to keep a certain amount of credits? My dd's first semester she took

a lighter load to see if she could handle it because she hadn't been in school

for 3 years. She takes a normal load now. She was able to keep her academic

scholarship with a lighter load. I don't know if that could be an option for

Josh. I don't know how anyone could stay mentally healthy trying to maintain as

much work as his school seems to expect. I personally wonder if it is worth the

sacrifice for him and would seriously worry about a breakdown, like you

mentioned. I hope things improve soon! Stormy

I'm leaving it up to him. If he wants to stay, he can. If he wants to walk

away, and come home, he can. He wants to try to finish out the year. I'm proud

of him for that, but I sure don't want to live through another " complete

breakdown " like we did 4 years ago, either.
