Guest guest
BJ, I am sorry he is still struggling. My dd has never heard of anyone having that high a work load at her college. Grant it, it isn't as intensive as his but that sounds completely unreasonable. Is his scholarship spread out over 4 years? Do you have to keep a certain amount of credits? My dd's first semester she took a lighter load to see if she could handle it because she hadn't been in school for 3 years. She takes a normal load now. She was able to keep her academic scholarship with a lighter load. I don't know if that could be an option for Josh. I don't know how anyone could stay mentally healthy trying to maintain as much work as his school seems to expect. I personally wonder if it is worth the sacrifice for him and would seriously worry about a breakdown, like you mentioned. I hope things improve soon! I'm proud of him for that, but I sure don't want to live through another " complete breakdown " like we did 4 years ago, either. >
