Guest guest
I just wanted to say I love your quote about changing the world. It is such a coincidence that I just said that exact thing to my eight year old daughter, , tonight when I was putting her to bed. I told her that she doesn't have to try to change the world. But that if she would just try to be a good person to everyone she comes into contact with; and if everyone did the same the world would truly be a better place and God wouldn't have to look down on us with pity but pride instead. (She's been mean to her little sister, all day & needed some type of lecture) lol. I'm new to this site. My six year old daughter, , has Systemic JRA and already I've been treated with kindness here at this site. So many nice people with info, web site addresses, and support. I'm so lucky to have found you all. Thank you and I truly mean that. I don't really have anyone to talk to. Everyone says they can't believe I handle everything I do as well as I do, so how can I turn around and whine to them that I'm falling apart watching my baby in pain? I'm the kind of person that wants to seem like I'm handling everything-- the supermom/wife type. I need to really get over that. lol I'm sorry to hear of your pneumonia and pleurisy. My daughter just had pneumonia. And if I'm not mistaken pleurisy is an inflamation of the internal lung lining. My husband had that once. Bad stuff. You must be miserable. What is mycoplasma bacteria? Do you think it's because you're immune suppressed from meds? Well take care and nice to meet you. Missy Barbara Gardner wrote: Dear Stilligans; Hi everyone. Sorry I've been inactive on the site. I've had pneumonia and pleurisy and am currently on my 3rd round of antibiotics. At my last ER visit I asked to have blood cultures done for mycoplasma bacteria and will fill everyone in on the results when they are back in a couple weeks. Welcome to all who are new. I wish you didn't need this group, but think you will find them warm, welcoming, and informative. Hopefully everyone made it through the holidays okay and had a safe, happy New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. My bedtime has come and gone, so I'll say goodnight for now. Just wanted to touch base. It would be nice if this large adult standing on my chest would GET OFF!! Much love, Much Love, Barbara Gardner Life is such a trip! Guest guest
Hey Barbara Sounds like you've had a dreadful time of it. Was that all over Christmas? I hope this latest dose of antibiotics does the trick. Love C2(UK) > Dear Stilligans; > > Hi everyone. Sorry I've been inactive on the site. Fi Hi everyone Hi everyone, I'm just about to run out the door to have my band adjusted. When my husband make the booking yesterday the Dr secretary said he wanted to talk to me about the amount of fills and unfills I've had as it could be a problem.....so here goes, I'm worried as to what he will say. I have downloaded some photos into the photo section. I have been wanting to start an album so today I have... Take care, stay out of the heat outside it's terrible Ingrid
