Guest guest
Oh Doors - you poor thing... how embarassing!!! I haven't really had one of those moments yet in public. I tend not to eat more than a few meesley morsels when I am out with buddies who do not know about my band. When I am with you lot - I give it a good go. The friends side of things is difficult. I am finding more and more that I am being so cautious with what I say... becoming very guarded with what I will say as it constantly seems to get misconstrued and like chinese whispers - never what I said to begin with. I have always felt I was a supportive friend, but more and more I am coming around to thinking that maybe I am not - maybe it is something that I have misconstrued about myself for many years. I think I am doing the right thing and trying to be a good support system, and it always seems to backfire on me somehow. I don't know... people I thought were great mates I end up loosing. Someone said to me the other night your biggest asset is your generosity, but your biggest letdown is your mouth - you say it as it is and sometimes that is your undoing. I say it as I see it, I don't lie, I don't cheat, but somehow I end up always looking like the bad guy. Oh well... not to worry!!! Your true friends accept you as you are... with all your faults and all your issues, if they are great friends - they stick by you always. I have two that I met when I was 12 years old, we are still the best of friends - they have faults - as much as I do, but we can see through those faults and we can have an arguement and move on from it. We can say things to eath other that are hurtful, but when we apologise to each other - it is over and forgotten. These are true friends.
