Guest guest
The evening eating is a big problem for all of Elaine, well it is for me anyway. I am always looking for something to nibble on - oh and also at about 4ish - that is another time for me to be looking for bad foods. I have taken to nibbling those bits of cardboard that think they are rice thins - with a bit of ricotta and caramelised balsamic. One of those will get me through. Also good is a Ryvita (more bloody cardboard) and avocado on top. My tip of the week. The fish shop at Hornsby sells prawns already peeled - bit expensive, but they have their tails on. I bought some for last Friday evening, and the left overs are in the freezer in bags of 4 - great with the avocado on Ryvita with some sweet chilli sauce. They take about 1/2 an hour to defrost and you just rinse them in very cold. Yummo! Elaine - hang in there!!!! >> Yes , I am on Reductil and i assume it helps a bit but the evening> seems to be my downfall!! Guest guest
Now this is interesting! When I had the fill out to fix the reflux problem I was having, the first thing I went for was lamb chops & BBQ chook. I had no problems... but I still chewed till they were basically liquids. Too scared not too. I also had a go at having some egg... but I still had problems so I didn't bother going back. I did put on about 2 kilos without the fill... but it was more because I just ate bigger helpings. God help me if I ever have to not have a band - I will be useless. Enjoy the fruit - I would kill for a nice piece of honeydew or rockmelon. Its not really the time of year for them thank goodness. I had some kiwi fruit the other day up north - that was good. >> I had a steak the other day and i couldn't bring myself to swallow - too> scared> after 4 years of not being able to my brain is conditioned!! Guest guest
That would suck! I can understand if it was a real situation, you would do it to save your life - but when its just a practice its not fair! What a nice boss, very considerate. But just think in about a year or so you wont be thinking that Elaine. That must bring a smile to your face.

Guest guest
God am I feeling your pain without the restriction thing. I think that you are doing so dam well, vege's and fruit, sh!t, I just went the bread and steak path which has led me down the getting fatter path again. not to mention all the other junk I have been shovelling into my gob! They day when you are pregnant you don't need to eat for two, I am trying not to, but the last 3 weeks I have been famished and all I want to do is eat, I can't get enough, although I am trying to curb my somewhat out of control hunger, but I am not winning the battle that well!! Hope that those 2 months fly by, you are going to be a new women! Luv Andi
