Guest guest
Hi Doors, Dr Talbot did my surgery for me because I had an umbilical hernia to be repaired. He said seeing he was in the vicinity he may as well do the TT! He doesn't normally do TTs without some other reason to do the surgery as he isn't a cosmetic surgeon. He did a fantastic job though and I am very happy with it. He is going to do what I call the 'fiddly bits' for free at the end of the year. These are bits that were missed in the original surgery because there was just so much skin he couldn't get it all. On other matters, I thiunk I have finally succombed to the wog that's been going around. It's not the flu just a heavy cold and I'm feeling terrible! Am going to bed now to try to get over it before the working week starts. things very busy at work and as we are going on holidays first week in Sept. they are piling it up on me before I go!! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves last night. See you soon Helen -- [sPAM] Re: Helen's surgeon > Doors Hi Mel, Sounds like you had a really fun night last night im going out tonight with work. Guest guest
Doors the arms are the worse thing to be done. It is such a large cut and from what I have been told extremely painful and also there will be a time that you wont be able to use them. It is definitely not a surgery that I would be signing up for. I had a TT last year and it was almost painful more uncomfortable than painful. Guest guest
Helen sorry to hear that you are not feeling too well. Go to bed and relax and drink plenty of fluids is the best thing for you. I am still struggling with mine. I can not wait until I feel 100% again. How is Graham? Guest guest
Ah Doors... I also lost one of my mates in January, and there have been a lot of tears and distress since then. I found out recenty that she had told the world (well it felt like that at the time) about my banding, about 4 weeks after I was banded. She is apparently still talking about trying to reconcile with me, but I am very much of the opinion that it will just explode again. She owes me quite a few big apologies before I think I can even go there. She was one of only three people other than family that I told... and I only told her because I needed help with the kids one day - wish I had just rung a bloody taxi for them now!!!!! Oh well... you live and learn. Jealousy is a nasty thing - and I now know that part of her problem with me was to do with many other things other than just my loosing a bit of excess weight... why - who knows. But, it is heartbreaking at the time.
