I was prescribed Vioxx by a rheumatologist, that knew I had a serious problem

with edema and soft tissue swelling caused by the systemic effects of Still's

Disease on my heart and kidneys. I had been seeing a pulmonolgist and critical

care specialist who prescribed Lasix, Zaroxolyn, and K-Dur. Within I month I had

lost 35lbs of fluid. Within 2 weeks of taking the Vioxx, I had 40lbs of edema to

deal with.

during my time on this drug I also had some big trouble . it was at this

time that i felt better but also keeped ending up in the ER with heart and

lung trouble after a few months of getting off f it things settaled down .

just can not say it was the drug only that the two run together

hugs all and lets kick some dragon butt okay!

My mother was on celebrex and advil. She did very well on both of them, but now

the doctor has taken her off of both meds. She has not been able to find

something else to take its place. She has Lupus, Osteoarthritis, and

Osteoporosis. Mandy
