Guest guest Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 I started Allie in the Country Life Vit A & D3 fish liver oil last Sunday. I don't know if it's a fluke or if it's responsible, but she's had one of the happiest weeks in a long time. About 24 hrs after the first pill she went to bed so giggly and happy, woke up happy & giggly, pretended big sis Jess and herself were hermit Crabs. She even integrated their names into Jess's & Allie's names. She also wrote the paragraph I shared. Today I saw her aid, who jokingly said, " Did you put something in her Wheaties today, she's doing so good... " She also told me they had a creative writing assignment & Allie wrote about something being funny, said, " The cow laughed and fell over in the barn. The pig laughed and fell over in the barn. The chicken laughed and fell over in the barn. The eggs cracked up. " I was about to pee on myself laughing so hard at her choice of words. I'm amazed with her ability to use the play on words with the eggs. Even better, the entire school went nuts when second grade & fifth grades were out on their playgrounds. They all felt a couple of drops of rain then a white-out rain storm dumped on them. Here were about 80 fifth graders & 80 second graders all running, drenched. The teachers looked like drowned rats, lol. Allie left the school 2 hours later laughing about the event so hard I didn't think she was gonna be able to make it to the van! She dealt with the wetness well, I hope, as soon as she was in the van she started stripping naked from the wet clothes. No one reported any incidents, I hope the clothes didn't come off before the van. The dose I'm giving her right now is 1 capsule, which is 10,000iu vit A/400iu D3. I think I'm gonna up it next week, see what happens then. Just thought I'd share. I've tried to give her CLO over the years, but her food aversions & inability to swallow pills made it virtually impossible. The last year or so she started swallowing pills but I tried to avoid overdoing it. Now she actually TAKES them from me & swallows them down. I also started her this week on zinc, but I think it's the A/D doing it because I didn't start the zinc until after her happiness started.
