Guest guest
Hello Group, Happy New Year to all of you. I am grateful for the support and camaraderie I find here. My resolution for 2008? Continue to work on letting things go. Be more and more willing to release anger, fear, conjecture. Remember over and over again that I see things through my own window, others from their own. Be kinder. Who was it that said something like, be kind to all you meet, for everyone is fighting a hard battle? Oh, and another; look for the blessings more often. Invite light into the dark corners. Smile more. Many blessings to each of you, Melinda **************************************See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)

Guest guest
I am not making a " New Year's " resolution so to speak, but I decided to try to be nicer to people in general...everyone..even strangers...it takes effort...but I think it is a good plan..I mean if we want peace on earth don't we have to start within ourselves? bridalsh wrote: Happy New Year! I still working on what my resolution should be for next year, does anyone have some good resolution he or she would like to share? I bought a bottle of " Welch's " Sparkling (Red Grape – non-alcoholic) at the food store for tonight. I can not remember if this was the one I liked last year or it was the other favor. Well, any rate, I am ready to celebrate with Welch's at midnight! Last year I barely got a taste because Kim and our neighbor girl drank almost all the sparkling grape juice before 9 o'clock. This year, I am hiding it in the back of the refrigerator! I hope that they will not spot my sparkling grape juice! Happy New Year! Guest guest
Sharisa's Joyous Resolution When the tears and anger choose to subside And make way for the joy that hides inside I can face the world in a brand new way Knowing each new day is a better day And my New Year's Wish and Resolution Is a mind and body free from pollution Of anger, sadness, and isolation That lead to feelings of desolation And desperation and depression That prevents any chance of a smooth progression Into a future where I'll feel free To become all that I am meant to be. Guest guest
I love your poem Sharisa...it's beautiful, my sister suffers alot from social anxiety and depressive illnesses among other things..and I wish this exact thing for her...I am just a social anxiety sufferer and just occasional depression so I don't know the feeling of being incapacitated by it like my sister does...so this poem really opened my eyes to it...thank you.. Guest guest
Sharisa Joy, I too, must thank you for this. I already posted on this but wanted to mention my own struggle with BiPolar Disorder type II. I always explain that it means I get the extreme lows with the extreme highs. My highs are normal for most people. Way too many of us are touched by some form of depressive/anxiety disorder whether it be ourselves or someone we love or know. Thanks again. Hope you don't mind, I forwarded your beautiful poem on to some loved ones. It's beautiful. > > > > > > Happy New Year! > > > > > > I still working on what my resolution should be for next year, does > > > anyone have some good resolution he or she would like to share? > > > > > > I bought a bottle of " Welch's " Sparkling (Red Grape – non- alcoholic) > > > at the food store for tonight. Guest guest
thanks and hope the new year will be of good for me too. I to have not set of any goals for this year yet it will take of me time to decide of those. One is of working though on becoming healthier. This last weekend has been of much stress for me as in the areas I to use to live of a man who was felt to be expressing signs of mental illness but not supported went over the edge of life and began of shooting family and neighbors he left of hims brother who was a police officer dead and hims neighbor as well dead. the brother was of named of the one who was of not well was of named larry. the neightbor was of named of Bobby . I to knew of all of them in this life but mostly bobby. So this weekend spended of funerals and the sad of so many peoples I to been of brave and went to the funeral of Bobby and over 700 peoples including the police department came to this one and so it was of hard. I to knew of Bobby for over 20 years so it is of hard to know hims 3 daughters will no longer have thier daddy. the middle child who is of 14 spoke of her thinking to the peoples on her daddy and it was of ever so much hard for me to hear od those words because childrens can cause emotions to come to me much quick. Anyways so now so much exhausted from all the peoples wanting of words to me that had not seen of me in much years. they wanted of much words to the husband too to see of how hims family is of doing. It was of so hard for me to be among so many and so many want of hugs to me but at least they give firm ones that my brain can cope. this family has such a strong legacy they pass on to so many as that is why so many showed to this funeral. the family has of no enemies as they see no one as that but see all people as friends and they never are of ones that judge or speak bad about anyones as they do not see any higher or lower than them and sees all no matter of thieir life as worhty of acceptance and love and it showed how much this family and Bobby expressed that to all the lives they had been to touch in that areas. He and brian were of both shot by Larry the brother of , and both died on December 26. Larry was of a corrections officer and had been of just had of too much stress that was increasing the mental illness which is of suspect of schizophrenia the paranoid type. It saddens me that he was so ill that he took the lives of hims brother and neighbor friend Bobby. Anyways that causes me to need to hyper post in release of stresses in me at time and other times I to not be of able to connect and have of words writed or spoekn.
