new flooring / aluminum oxide

Has anyone investigated FLOORING? We have to replace or cover some

vinyl, and DH and I are looking at natural flooring, and the hardwood

and engineered woods are topped with aluminum oxide, of all things.

ICK.

We're looking more seriously at the more expensive CORK flooring now

that we know about the aluminum oxide.

Has anyone investigated non-toxic, natural flooring? Could you give me

some short cuts?
