Guest guest
Well, school is a few days underway. Last year Allie tried to hide her homework, but would eventually do with some resistance. This year, though, she is excited to do the homework and needs minimal prompts. For example, we had a homework sheet where we read a definition and she had to pick from a word list. They were such questions as, " when you talk softly " with a " w " and a line. She picked the right word every time then wrote the words! Writing is still messy, but my what a long way we have come! She could also recognize the numbers when I would say, " Which number is 93 " and she had to pick from either 39 or 93. She also loves daycare & the director keeps raving about how well she's doing. This director worked in the preschool program Allie attended when she was first dxed, so she remembers her pre-early intervention. I cannot express how profound her changes are!!!
