Guest guest
Got a call from Matt's aide that he needed to come home. I spoke with Matt on the phone and he seemed very anxious. We've been here in the past and gone through school refusal ect. I thought the school understood what to do - that they would take him to a quiet place and not allow him to go home unless absolutely necessary. So, I had to call his case manager and tell her what was going on - she didn't know that he was unstable for the past month. Seems that I always have to be the go between. I am hoping to put the therapist in touch with the school. Meanwhile, I've been making hospital rounds late in the evening up till 11 or so because I'm afraid the school will need me for something during the day and it's hard to leave the hospital sometimes. Can't wait for things to turn around here, but in any event it seems that I am doomed to have to intervene at school yearly. Bonnie
