Guest guest
Debi happy to see so many womans too like of the football games as it makes me not feel so bad in liking that sport. I to might not like it for the same reasons as others but do like much of the parts of the game. I tolike college and professional bt not good at knowing all the teams that I to be to need to like so I to just match what the husband shared he likes and my Dr. Amigo and some of the other mens in my life. So I to know of the names of those teams but lack the knowings of other teams in the sport. Sondra
Guest guest
Hey there! I have a son who plays football (running back - hooray) and wrestles. He's currently in eight grade but will be wrestling Varsity next year! I am one proud mama who used to be one of those annoying girlie girls talking during games. Now, it's get outta my way! My kid is playing football (or wrestling), plus it helped me to get a wayyyyy better understanding of the game! Love it! Shell > > > > I've always played sports and liked to watch sports. Guest guest
Your son wrestles? Awesome...I coached a kid who was a wrestler taking tumbling to improve agility, and had 3 wrestlers on my gymnastics team, and they were AWESOME and so strong (the 3 in gymnastics did 5 levels in about 4 months, it was NUTS). They were in such good shape. I like watching football too. And playing (running back). Not like anyone in their right mind would let me on a real team *grin* Kassiane --- sajustmyself wrote: > Hey there! > > I have a son who plays football (running back - > hooray) and > wrestles. I to guess because was to be included the other kids gave of me a position and they asked of me to play center field. I to took it literlaly and ran to the center of the field LOL they asked of me after the play what the heck I was to be of doing I to shared they told of me to play in center field and so that is what i to did. They were not happy with my reply and laughted much and then after PE they were of tease of me for much long times. This is when I to began to understand of my literalness within me as being something that is of not like others. It was my first awareness within me that my ability to understand words were of different. At that age of me I to just wanted to be undetectable among peers so tried of ever so hard. Guest guest
Kassi, Yes, my son, Jake is 14 years old (on January 14th!) and has been wrestling since 4th grade (he is now in 8th). He is a great wrestler and went to state last year. His record in school this year was 14- 4! How's that for great? Okay, maybe a little mommy pride showing there! And yes, he is strong too! It's hard for me to act tough when I know he can take me! Why don't you find a " powder puff " team to play football on? I see lots of girls playing football and wrestling (I'm not too hot on the wrestling part - too much direct contact!!). I wish they had something like that for my daughter who is autistic - she could use the deep pressure. Since I am so new here, may I ask how old you are? Thanks, (PS, I am 41 years old - gotta share in all fairness) > > > > > > > > I've always played sports and liked to watch > > sports. Guest guest
14-4. That IS great. If there was powder puff football around here Id try it, though around here (inland northwest, Spokane/Idaho area) a lot of the young women are rather...erm...beefy. And I'm rather NOT. I'm 25 years 1 month and 2 weeks old. No kids, except my cat. She's 4. Guest guest
Kassi, Well you are very knowledgable in your 25 years! I hope to learn as much from you and the others as I can. Especially trying to see things from Hannah's (my dd) perspective. That's really hard to do. > > > > > > > > > > > > I've always played sports and liked to watch > > > > sports.
