Guest guest
Sondra, Antidepressants and certain other drugs for chemotherapy and high blood pressure are contraindicated with melatonin. The other things you listed are fine to take with it. > canmelatonin be safely used with medications such as buspar, lexapro, > nexium, singular, allergy nasal sprays such as nasalnex? > > Sondra >

Guest guest
Sorry Sondra. If you are taking Lexapro and Buspar, you should not also take melatonin, as side effects can be worsened by this interaction. > does this mean it is of okay or not of okay as I lack what teh > big word means so not sure if that means it is of good or bad to take > with medications. > Sondra > > In Autism_in_Girls , cathylynn2 > wrote: >> >> Sondra, >> >> Antidepressants and certain other drugs for chemotherapy and high >> blood pressure are contraindicated with melatonin. Guest guest
, What about Cipralex? We are giving 10mg of cipralex to reduce her OCD type tantrums. I give her 1.5 mg of melatonin and that knocks her out just fine. The doctor knows she is on melatonin but did not mention anything about the cipralex not being a good mix with melatonin. Should I remind him?? FYI, does not take pills, even chewables, so I use the caplets and open them up, mix them into cookie dough and bake them into sleepy cookies!! I make sure I make each one individually so I don't get too much in one cookie. So it still works if it is baked! > >> > >>> canmelatonin be safely used with medications such as buspar, > > lexapro, > >>> nexium, singular, allergy nasal sprays such as nasalnex? > >>> > >>> Sondra > >>> > >> > > > > > > > > > > Autism_in_Girls-subscribe > > ------------------------ > > Autism_in_Girls-unsubscribe > >
