It is so good to know that you had success at the Amen Clinic! We are thinking

about taking our 15 yr. old son to the Tacoma climic, so that we will know which

meds/supplements will work for his particular brain. It seems totally logical to

me to try find out what a patient's brain looks like before prescribing meds

that may not be the best choice for that individual. Thanks again for sharing

your postitive experience!

Hi Heidi,

Yes, the Amen Clinic is in Tacoma, WA. We are in Richland, WA and were thinking

of taking our son there for a SPECT scan, but we aren't sure that we want to

expose his 15 yr.old brain to the radioactive substance that they use in the

scan. The cost for treatment is so high, as well and probably not covered by

insurance. So, I guess we will continue to see his Dr. in Spokane. I have

ordered a few of Dr. Amen's books to read in hopes of finding supplements that

may help our son with his impulsivity and focus problems at school.
