strep test negative

Hi group,

Took 6yr dd in for recommended tests yesterday (ones recommmended by Dr.

Kovacevic). So far strep came back and it was negative. I was disappointed. I

want an easy fix for her symptoms. I want my happy go lucky blonde haired

little ham of a child back. Waiting for the rest of the tests to come back and

in meantime scheduled appt. with my son's psychiatrist for her. He was gracious

enough to squeeze us in at the end of this week. Right now I want to drink

copious amounts of alcohol and pretend this isn't happening again (but I won't

because having a drunk for a mother would not help our situation).

On a positive note, I began homeschooling 13yr 8th grade boy this fall and

taking him to an extremely small school half hour away for band. If any of you

recall, he has been bullied extremely for the past three years or more. I

received a call from the principal at his new school (who also happens to be his

band teacher) and she told me how much she enjoys him in her class, how

wonderfully he plays drums, and how much the other students really like him. I

also filed a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights against our school here

(the one my son had to leave) and OCR feels there is enough information to open

a formal investigation. So, we shall see what happens.

Thanks group, couldn't do any of this OCD thing without some support.
