I loved these!!!!!!!!!! Some of this reminds me of when she was younger.

Especially, when she did not want to say her sisters' name but focused on the

brother! has what we call " Opposite Day " . This is when from the time she

wakes up she is saying everything opposite. We say it is cold outside, she says

it is hot. Agh....but life is good when we see results.

I loved these!!!!!!!!!! Some of this reminds me of when she was younger.

Especially, when she did not want to say her sisters' name but focused on the

brother! has what we call " Opposite Day " . This is when from the time she

wakes up she is saying everything opposite. We say it is cold outside, she says

it is hot. Agh....but life is good when we see results.

Opposite Day?? My son with ASD we call Opposite BOY. EVERYTHING,

everyday....sigh.

, I think some days are better than others. But on Opposite Days, I just

have to resort to being opposite myself. I also try to hold the highest

reinforcers to make her concentrate. It works sometimes.

I remember when was in 2nd grade. There was this boy who did everything

opposite and I did not know. One day, while I was visiting, the staff told him

to sit down. He stood up. They told him to talk and he was quiet. I laughed and

asked the staff what was going on. They informed me that this was the way they

got him to do things. It worked for him.
