10 year old with OCD germ phobia

Hi, I'm new to this group. I'm excited to have found this group. I have a son

who is 10, almost 11. He has OCD, germ phobia. Plus tourettes (mild tics) &

Aspergers. Over the last few months, his OCD has been getting worse. He can't

touch door knobs and recently, can't hold my hand. He worries that chairs are

dirty. He uses hand sanitizer all the time. We are in the process of a

referral for a therapist that specializes in OCD and cognitive behavior therapy.

I'm not really sure what it is, but am in the learning process. Looking forward

to reading the posts, learning, sharing and supporting.
