Guest guest
He did not say it was PANDAS for sure. He is waiting on the blood work. I have another visit to go over it. I really like the guy and hope that he can prescribe all of her meds., and perhaps I could go to someone for some CBT therapy. > He is a pediatric neurologist. He has experience treating a wide range of neurological conditions, not just Pandas. I am quite sure he would prescribe SSRIs, dopamine agonists, etc. if he felt they were appropriate. The difference is he recognized Pandas and will treat it, not tell you it doesn't exist. But if he felt your child had something else, he'd treat that too. > > My guess is that he doesn't want more than one doctor prescribing at a time in order to keep a good eye on everything. > > > > > > > > > > Subject: Dr.Trifiletti > > To: > > Date: Thursday, June 3, 2010, 8:54 PM > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > For those that have seen Dr. Trifiletti.... Does he prescribe your childs medications? When I was there, he mentioned that he would rather prescribe my childs med. instead of a psychiatrist. I am pretty new at this and was looking for some advice. Thanks > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
