The dosage given by the mitochondrial foundation is

5-15mg/kg. So thats around 270-830mg. I take 800mg,

I'm 125-130 pounds with fairly pronounced deficiency

symptoms (high lactic acid, exercise intolerance

unbecoming a gymnast of my abilities, had some muscle

wasting, air hunger, loads of fun).

Make sure you get a good brand or all it does is cause

diarrhea (been there....).

Also, I just found out that I wasn't absorbing the water soluble ones, but

to get a lipid soluble one. Has anyone else heard that? I could be the odd

duck not absorbing stuff though.

Also, I just found out that I wasn't absorbing the water soluble ones, but

to get a lipid soluble one. Has anyone else heard that? I could be the odd

duck not absorbing stuff though.

I got the soft gels at GNC. They are GNC brand. I asked the clerk and he said

to give her 30 mg. per day. That is a lot lower than you are suggesting. My

assumption is that he doesn't know what he is talking about. I think I will

call the Dr. we saw and see what he wants her to take. I have heard some people

talk about whether or not it is being absorbed. How do you know if it is or

not???

If the GNC is not a good brand, do you know what is. I have never done the

supplement thing with her before.

I take Source Naturals. They dont even COME in 30mg,

my 'dad' (I got adopted for christmas, my new dad is

autistic too!) takes 100mg with every meal, and I have

200mg capsule things...those are the only doses we've

seen.

Kirkman is usually good but they're expensive, and

there's the downside of only getting them over the

net, and I'm generally happy with Twinlab as well-they

make MOST of my supplements, Source Naturals makes the

rest. I can tell a brand switch right away.

I to take of natures made brand of the CoQ10 2x a day which is of a

total of 200 mgs a day but not always remember to take of it every

morning so sometimes less. I to took of it ore for the reason of it

being sahred to promote heart health as the mother and her side of

family has of very strong history of strokes and heart disease. I to

not want of it. So I to be almost too fearful of getting bad things ,

not fearing death at all but fearing of being sick for long times in

life with no set promise of its end of the pains or disabilites those

diseases can causes to me such as stroke can make of you not walk and

speak of words both things I to learned to be of more independent in

life currently.

I to also have of deteriating hip joints/sockets whcih causes me

great pains and tears some nights because my body is so full of need

to pace and walk and move about it does not know how t rest well. I

to also be of short so things in life are not maked for short people

which always leaves ofmy posture at a risk for issues because of the

need for me to compensate for the wrong fits always to furniture and

such. if I to sit as suppose to be to sit my legs dangle and do not

touch of the floor and if I tolean of forward so that my feet do

Vitamin C for immune I to take of 1-2 x a day of a total of 1000, to

2000 mg's a day

Lutin for the eyes at 1x a day for a totalof 20mg's a day

Calcium /magnesium/zinc combined (chelated) 3 a day this is to

support me due to limiting dairy, and due to promote healthy musles

and joints and bones. It also can help of me promote sleep. it helps

me to fall asleep faster but not stay asleep but I to wake more

rested feeling

Soya leichethin is supposed to be good for memory &

recall, my ex boyfriend used to take it before

Scholastic Bowl (it's kind of like team Jeopardy).

It could definitely be the change in brands, as there are other

additives like titanium dioxide or colorings to which she might be

sensitive. I would stick with a rice brand oil based CoQ10 rather

than soybean oil, since soy products can be very problematic and rice

bran oil contains beneficial tocotrienols. If you think she might be

reacting negatively to this one, I can make a recommendation for you.

You are also quite right that the change in her schedule might be

upsetting her. My daughter does not like her schedule disrupted at

all. See if the problems continue after vacation.

Only beware if she eats a lot of rice-based products. When we were

gfcf we found Allie was sky-high allergic to rice, way more sensitive

than to wheat. The only thing she really ate were digestive enzymes

with rice bran filler & maybe some tofutti... isn't that rice-based?
