That is amazing that is living at UNC-CH now - how great! It's really

big, so I applaud him for being willing to go there. My dd wouldn't even

consider applying there (even though some of her friends will be there) because

she knew she would have to live on campus and because it's so large. She did

apply to NCSU and got in, but declined the offer, because she said it's just too

big and she didn't feel comfortable there when we went for a campus visit.

Instead, she's going to go to a smaller womens' college (it's still much bigger

than her high school, so she is making progress!)

She won't have a car on campus, either, because she hates driving and hasn't had

enough experience... she doesn't even want one. I will definitely let her try

living on campus (I'm not going to tell her of my fears), but I know I'll be on

" pins and needles " for the first few weeks (or months) just hoping and praying

that it works out for her.
