Guest guest
thanks for replying... That is amazing that is living at UNC-CH now - how great! It's really big, so I applaud him for being willing to go there. My dd wouldn't even consider applying there (even though some of her friends will be there) because she knew she would have to live on campus and because it's so large. She did apply to NCSU and got in, but declined the offer, because she said it's just too big and she didn't feel comfortable there when we went for a campus visit. Instead, she's going to go to a smaller womens' college (it's still much bigger than her high school, so she is making progress!) She won't have a car on campus, either, because she hates driving and hasn't had enough experience... she doesn't even want one. I will definitely let her try living on campus (I'm not going to tell her of my fears), but I know I'll be on " pins and needles " for the first few weeks (or months) just hoping and praying that it works out for her. Thanks again, > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > My dd is graduating from high school this year and has always said she wanted to commute to college - in fact, she only applied to college & universities that were close to home. >
