: I'm not an expert on the subject, but I have to figure that if a cow has leukemia, she's going to be pretty sick and anemic. This would lead the owner of such a cow to not milk her as she would be way to weak and in need of veterinary care. Moreover, I've never heard of a cow with this disease. Could be something like getting TB from a cow's milk, but in most states they have eradicated this years ago.

Another thing that I believe most people on this list know is that almost all animals diseases like this, unless mutated in some way like the bird flu thing, are not passed onto people.

Sounds like alarmist type of rhetoric to me. I also know someone that says milk is meant for human babies and children and that we don't need it as we get older. However, how many people in this world eat and drink dairy products their entire lives? Plus, if you read more then the negative, I think you find the benefits out weigh the negativity by some radicals with certain agendas. Being nutritionally minded does not necessarily mean that person is knowledgeable about RAW milk. You have to remember that most people only read about the milk that is mass produced that is found in supermarkets. Of course we know that isn't even milk anymore. Everything has been taken from it. In that respect, I don't believe even children should drink it.

More then likely, for every word written against the consumption of milk, you will find an equal amount of words advocating its use......IN ITS RAW FORM.
