Guest guest
Iequality group I do mission work in the country of Nicaragua. I just go this email from a missionary asking for the board of NPMI (Nicaragua Prison Ministries Inc.) that I serve on for help. The reason for forwarding this to the group is to ask is there anything that can be done about this other than replacing the mattresses or is this going to be expected in the hot humid environment? Please help me by responding quickly. Thank you to the respondents in advanced. Josh I received this today at the end of about 4 e-mail exchanges about “bed bugs” in La Esperanza. The government is trying but they believe they need to destroy all the mattressess at La Esperanza to eliminate the problem. Saludos. Dr. Vila. In short, the prison system is asking us to help raise $2500 to replace all the mattresses at La Esperanza. Unfortunately, due to overcrowding. The mattresses they recieved on the containers can not be used on the very narrow bunk beds in overcrowded conditions. I would like to ask the board to consider a motion to assist the prison system with the mattresses to the extent we recieve donations designated for that purpose. I know one donor who has expressed an interest but I do not know what size of donation they are able to make. blessings,
