RE: Heat Treatment

Bob,

Heavens no. I am the biggest promoter of source identification and

source removal. Heat is an ancillary adjunct for some jobs that may require a

finish treatment. I do not recommend the use of heat without extensive

remediation.

My opinion about the best use of heat is not in mold remediation,

but structural drying, so that germination is stopped before mold growth

occurs.

there is a 10K limit on the policy. The whole dwelling is contaminated (attic,

1st floor, and cellar). Are you saying that to heat the building

(after gutting) will produce the same affects as source removal?
