Guest guest
Hello all, I'm a f, 30 this year, and I've woken up twice this year with swollen joints. This last time it happened in Nov. and hasn't let up. I went to a rheumy and he ordered the standard round of blood tests and a bone scan. They were both normal. Then, he decided to do hand x-rays since " bone scans don't always show that much. " The nurse called today and said the x-rays show " arthritic changes " and that I have osteoarthritis and should continue taking my Naproxen. Is it typical to get osteoarthritis suddenly in all 5 PIP joints of the toes and fingers? Do I need to take my records and see another rheumy? Help, please.
