Please note that the MSDS provides information regarding bulk quantities (think barrels) of this product. Obviously, there are differences between using a product as intended/directed, versus a spill or other accident involving large quantities.

Isopropyl alcohol (a.k.a., rubbing alcohol) is also flammable. Your doctor likely has containers of this in every exam room. You likely even have it in your medicine cabinet at home. It is commonly used for disinfection and standard practice is to use isopropyl alcohol to wipe a person's skin where they are going to get an injection. Take a look at an MSDS for isopropyl alcohol (e.g., http://www.kendallhq.com/catalog/MSDS/WecolCurityAlcoholPrepPad_2-2004.pdf). Looking at this, it sounds like really scary stuff - don't breath it, don't get it on your skin, flash fire hazard, etc. But, in consumer quantities it is is not considered "HAZARDOUS/DANGEROUS/HARMFUL!" There are countless similar examples of products we routinely use. Be careful not to misconstrue the information contained in something like an MSDS.

Thierry Mugler Perfumes, or any other perfume, aftershave, lotion, deodorant, finger nail polish, hair coloring, etc. may (?) affect some people adversely. This MSDS does not provide that documentation.
