Guest guest
I got this article from ASSE on the new Z10 Standard. I did not even know that it was out. I did hear a lot about this, and I thought the article on use of government agencies was interesting... List - There has been some discussion in the past on Z10. One question being asked is whether the standard can be used by national regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Literally hundreds of questions have come into ASSE about this, so we have put together an article on this issue. Adele Abrams, ASSE's advocate in Washington D.C. is an experienced safety and health attorney and the author of this article. Along with her insights addressing the use of the standard, she also includes some suggestions on what actions SH & E professionals should take in regards to this standard. We put together an article on this issue and it can be viewed at the link below. When you open the link there is ordering information on the standard. If you scroll on down you will also come to some articles and information on the standard. The legal perspectives article can be launched. http://www.asse.org/fr3388s.htm
