My problem

I haven't really had the time to read through the posts here, so I

don't know how common my particular problem is. My story goes like

this: years ago I tried various SSRI like cipramil (not sure about the

international name) and experienced some sexual problems with orgasm

etc. Nothing much really, and everything returned to normal when I

stopped taking the pills. A couple of years ago I started taking

Efexor because of serious problems with depression. I immediately

noticed that Efexor had a stronger effect, during a short period I got

more anxiety and negative thoughts, but they went away and the

medication helped me to stabilize my mood. Unfortunately there were

some sexual problems: I lost some of my sex drive, had problems

getting orgasms and so. Still it was within the acceptable. However

within the last months my sex drive disappeared almost entirely and

this freaked me out. I stopped taking Efexor and didn't experience any

negative side effects which I've had before when I didn't take it for

a couple of days. Now I've been off Efexor for almost two months - and

my sex drive is gone. I can get an erection but I've no interest for

sex, with the exception of two occassions when I at least got a little

horny.

What I want to know is if there're more people here who have this

particular problem and if the condition has improved over time?
