Guest guest
Hi all, We just got back from Jenna's eye appt today and she needs glasses and they are patching her right eye. They said she is far-sighted and that they fear she will lose sight in her l;eft eye if she doesn't start using it more. How many of our kids have sight problems? I noticed in the yahoo photo album that a lot of them wear glasses already. How young were your kids when glasses were prescribed? How well do infants keep glasses on? I will be curious to find out how Jenna does with a patch on her eye AND glasses on. Poor little baby girl. Also, I got chromosome testing results back and they said it came back normal. I talked with her neurologist yesterday and asked him about the infantile spasms and he told me that usually if a child has IS, the EEG shows different results than what Jenna's showed. Hers showed " sharp waves " and I can't remember what he said the IS showed. Does that make sense to you Chris?? He also told me to record (write down) all " episodes " that she has and I think and I are going to get a camcorder to try to record her in action. I'll tell you all something....I am a nervous wreck with her right now. don't know if I should leave her alone for even a second or keep doing what we always have with her. I am a freak with this but I just don't know how to " be " right now. How did you all handle it? Oh yeah, and in regards to meds....when you go out, do you just take their meds in the bottles or do you have a special thing to put meds in?? Does that even make sense??? I have no clue. Sorry for so many questions....any help would be helpful! ~ & Jenna Leigh~10 months with PMG Enjoy life...live rule #62!!
