Hello there,

My 10 month old daughter has recently been diagnosed with

PMG. She started showing signs of seizure activity in her last EEG. Her first

EEG showed nothing unusual. Her MRI and other scans of her brain " stumped "

doctors at 2 previous hospitals and finally we made it to Children's Hospital in

San Diego where they made her DX after sending her MRI films to Dr. Dobyns in

Chicago. She was started on Tegretol not quite 2 weeks ago to see if her unusual

eye movements are indeed seizures. They are slowly upping her meds over time.

She still has the eye movements and they have now changed to a more " jerky " to

the side movement as well as the " downward bobble " like before. Her neuro has no

clue if she is seizing or not. (At this point, I wonder if he has a CLUE at

all!) I just wanted to briefly describe Jenna's situation with you and let you

know that I still have TONS of questions and concerns and this group is

wonderful for support!! I hope I might be of some help.
