can often cause difficulties for breastfeeding infants and their

mothers. Recent treatment strategies differ significantly from

previous practice. Our program on

infant tongue tie will provide information and education above and

beyond the basic instruction provided in academic institutions or

residency. Our speaker will review cases of tongue and lip tie

and the difficulties that tongue tie can create for breastfeeding

infants. The program will include an update on recent research

and current literature that will provide guidance and strategies for

proper treatment. Participants will also learn why a

complete understanding of tongue and lip tie can be critical to

successful breastfeeding. Participants will

ankyloglossia and maxillary tie; Discuss

the relationship of ankyloglossia and maxillary tie to

breastfeeding; Understand

the strategies for addressing the challenges in treatment; Understand

preliminary results and findings of local study on tongue tie; Ask

FAAP, Pediatric Faculty and Director of Nurseries, Middlesex

Hospital. He serves as Chair of the Multidisciplinary Action

Group of the AAP Section Forum Management Committee, the

AAP Section on International Child Health.

American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) will accept

continuing education requirements for certified nurses.

The credit hours will transfer equally. CTAAP will provide

verification of participation in letter form to the nurse.

Nurses must submit the proper paperwork to the ANCC for

approval.

OK I am trying to follow this string.

Having a little difficulty. Is there a one day teaching conference to attend

or a one hour teleconference? Or both? I couldn't find the date for the one

day hands on one. Which is available after the fact? I clicked on the

teleconference registration and it is closed.
