Guest guest
OH hugs, you must be worried sick! On the one hand, he's an older fella at 12 years old and the body does break down with age (don't I know it) but if he's acting normal... well I guess ride that happy wave as long as possible! Crossing my fingers it was a false reading or it's something easily remedied. keep us posted!Hugs Hi everyone! This is certainly off topic, but I know most of you own pets. Carson (my 3lb Chihuahua) went for his yearly exam and they ran a " wellness blood test " . The vet called me today and said that he had low blood sugar (47) and wanted us to come back in and have it taken again. She said she wanted him to fast for 12 hours in case they needed to run more blood. She said it could be nothing. She said it could be an error in the lab. I hope so. I'm worried about this. He acts totally normal, still playing and eating the same. His birthday is today and he celebrates 12 years. ) I even got him a little cake. Anyone have any experience with low blood sugar with any of your dogs or cats? please share it with me. ´¨¨)) -:¦:-¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- ~ -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´* -- ___________________________________________________________________Please help support my website by doing your Amazon shopping through me with this link:http://www.amazon.com/? & tag=pinkpussycasc-20 & camp=212361 & creative=392009 & linkCode=wsw & THANK YOU! =^..^=

Guest guest
hi michelle! happy birthday to carson, what a great day! some dogs get excited or stressed at the vet and even that can give a high sugar reading. further testing definitely required. {{{ carson }}} :*carolyn.
