Guest guest
I tell mothers about that group all the time... I love this yahoo group. I had a phone call from a mom who needs to induce lactation. I talked to her for a while than referred her to an IBCLC. I was thinking about giving her the 'eats on feets' information but decided against it. As IBCLC would you have told her about that group? Guest guest
I don't see any reason not to! I think this decision is like any other that consumers make. They should be made aware of benefits, and any disadvantages or side effects, just like formula right? Formula carries risks and benefits as well. I worked with a mother who had stage 3 breast cancer recently, she anticipated resuming chemo and we discussed HMBNA, Eats on Feets, Milk Share, and formula (including a variety of types of formulas). I have no idea which she chose, as at the time of my visit with her she was breastfeeding. I'm curious about what caused your reluctance? I think I can understand but it would be interesting to hear other people's thoughts on this issue. > > > But I'm a LLLL taking the exam 2011. > I love this yahoo group. > I had a phone call from a mom who needs to induce lactation.
